How to sign-in to Microsoft Edge

When you first open Microsoft Edge, you can sign in as part of the onboarding process.

Here’s how to add different profiles in Microsoft Edge:

1. Open Microsoft Edge

2. Navigate to the upper-left corner of your browser window to select the icon that represents your current profile. It may look like a blank silhouette, a letter, or a custom image you've already added. Selecting this icon will open a drop-down menu.

3. Select Manage profile settings. At the top of the drop-down menu, select the gear icon and a new profile settings tab will open.

4. Select Add profile.

5. Choose Add. A new tab will open with the option to sync your data or create a new profile without your data.

6. Sign in with your works account to sync.

7. Select  Continue.

8. Toggle Sign in synchronisation to  Yes.

9. Select  Confirm.

With Edge, you can add multiple profiles. Profiles allow multiple users to operate in a shared environment while maintaining access to their personalised browser settings, bookmarks, and extensions.

Here’s how:

1. With the Edge browser launched, select Profile (top left) > Sign in to sync data.

2. Select Profile, then choose Manage profile settings.

3. Select + Add profile.

4. Select Add.

5. Sign in to sync data, to connect to an existing account, then select Continue.

6. Use the slider to toggle sign in synchronisation to Yes, then select Confirm.

The additional profiles are now available for selection.
