Brand refresh marks new chapter

We’ve recently completed and now launched a refresh of our brand identity including logo, fonts, colour palette and design style. Here our Managing Director, Simon Spurrell, explains our rationale and why we’ve done this now.

Why refresh now?

A brand refresh was important to mark a new chapter for the company, including a change to how we look after our clients.

The service desk is still an important part of our offering, as is continuing to support third party apps, however, to keep our clients at the forefront of technological innovation, our experienced team continually research and appraise new solutions. As a result, our services have evolved over several years and we have now migrated most of our clients onto our managed service offerings.

This means that in addition to proactively supporting our clients with their IT infrastructure, we are also advising them on cyber security including training, cloud services, web solutions and integrated telecoms systems.

As technology continues to evolve and develop so quickly, this will be reflected in our offering in the future, but we felt it important to mark these changes now with a refreshed brand identity.

What makes iTG different?

A lot of companies say that it is their staff that make them different, and this is certainly the case with us as we have a fantastic team. But we go one step further as we have a point of difference in our service offering, as we offer a comprehensive wrap around service, where we look after all your technology and website needs under one roof.

Other companies in our sector don’t do this and because of our holistic approach we can ensure you get the best possible return on your investment in terms of innovation, efficiency and productivity across your organisation, helping you to build a more profitable and sustainable business.

This difference is reflected in our new strapline – taking care of your technology and web infrastructure – which we have deliberately kept really simple.

What about our new look?

There are only minor adjustments to the colours of the logo, and it retains its original design style to link to our excellent reputation, which we have built up over the last 25 years.

We’ve added a vibrant new colour palette and updated our fonts, which are used consistently across a fresh and more sophisticated design style.

While the old brand identity has served its purpose well, the new one had to satisfy all the existing expectations of what our original mark stood for, while simultaneously moving the brand forward.

The importance of our team

Having said all that, what makes our company truly special is our people and we have a truly amazing team that is tremendously loyal. We now have four people who have been with the business for 20 plus years with many more on 10 years’ service or more. This is testament to their dedication while also providing continuity for our clients, both vital factors in us achieving a 99% client retention rate.

They really are a fantastic bunch who are enthusiastic, highly experienced and knowledgeable, who get out of bed in the morning to help our clients. They not only love technology but also understand the benefits it can deliver for business. Put very simply, they always do an excellent job and they have been, and will continue to be, a significant factor in our success.
